About the lecture:

Continuous Deployment sounds like a great concept, but is it applicable only to small startups? Can it be implemented also in organizations with complex production services and millions of users?
In this session, I will describe the Continuous Deployment best practices, tools, and culture change that have allowed Wix to boost its deployment pace from 2 times per month to 200 times per month.
We will also discuss the challenges in scaling Continuous Deployment in larger organizations.

About the lecturer:

Yaniv oversees the R&D activities at Wix, a leading Web publishing SaaS provider. Yaniv brings over 15 years of diversified experience in management and R&D positions with great empathize on scaling the R&D capabilities to boost the organization’s business growth. Prior to joining Wix, Yaniv led the R&D and product organization of Pudding Media, a Startup providing a SaaS-based mobile advertising solution. Prior to Pudding Media, Yaniv led the Engineering and R&D organization of Comverse’s Content Business Unit. Before Comverse, Yaniv was Director of R&D at Everard, a startup in the music and advertising industry. Yaniv holds an MBA and a B.Sc., in Computer Science from Technion.
